Description
This boundary stone, located approximately 15 feet east of Overbeck Bridge on the north side of the road, dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is a monolithic sandstone block standing about 2 feet high, featuring a semicircular head. The west face has a weathered inscription in Roman lettering that reads ".....RDALE," which likely refers to Bowderdale.
