Description

This bridge, located approximately 30 meters north of the barn at Low Wray Farm, dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of stone and features a round arch made of voussoirs, with some edges projecting upwards about 1 meter. The bridge lacks abutments or a parapet. At the crest, there are two fluted iron gate piers. Its design is inspired by 17th-century packhorse bridges, such as Slater Bridge. The bridge is owned by the National Trust.
