Description

The Lodge is a building associated with Snittlegarth, dated and inscribed over the entrance with "R. & S.W. 1801". It is constructed from mixed limestone rubble with flush red sandstone quoins and features a hipped roof made of graduated greenslate, topped with a stone chimney stack. This single-storey, two-bay lodge has a plank door and sash windows set within painted stone surrounds.
