Description

The garden wall adjoining the rear of Dalemain is a structure from the mid-18th century. It features facings of red and pink sandstone ashlar with V-jointed quoins, while the other walls are made of brick, all topped with flat moulded coping. This high wall encloses two sides of the rear garden of Dalemain. The lean-to extensions on the inner wall are not considered of interest. The wall is listed for its group value with Dalemain.
