Description
Croft Farmhouse is a farmhouse and cafe dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features painted incised stucco with raised painted quoins on a chamfered plinth. The roof is made of graduated greenslate and has cement rendered chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and consists of two bays, with a two-bay extension to the left under a common roof and a three-bay single-storey cafe extension to the right. There is a 20th-century door in a painted stone surround beneath a shaped lintel and cornice supported by console brackets. The windows are Yorkshire sash style with glazing bars, set in painted stone surrounds, and have console-bracketed sills. The cafe extension has a similar doorway, but with a less elaborate lintel and an enlarged 20th-century ground floor window. The cafe also features a 20th-century door and windows in painted stone surrounds.
