Description

Winster Bridge, located in Cartmel Fell, is a packhorse bridge that dates back to 1729. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a limestone parapet. The bridge has a rough segmental arch, which is complemented by a later parapet made of large limestone blocks. On the east side, there are two square rubble gate piers topped with ball finials. A portion of this bridge also lies within the boundaries of Crook civil parish.
