Description

Birks Bridge is a clapper bridge that crosses the River Winster, likely dating from the 17th or 18th century. It features four rectangular rubble piers and abutments, with flagstones extending to either side to create a raised pavement. An iron handrail, probably from the 20th century, is also present.
