Description
The Hole in t'Wall Public House, with attached buildings to the south, dates from the 17th century and has been altered over time. It features roughcast walls and a new slate roof with a round chimney, standing at two low storeys. The building has two doors and four windows on each floor, mostly double sashes with wooden mullions, each sash containing six panes. An attached former stable and loft is located at right angles to the south. This public house, along with the nearby White House, Robinson, and other local establishments, forms an important village center group with the Parish Church of St Martin and several businesses on Church Street.
