Description

Pool Bank House is a house likely dating from the early 18th century, with later alterations. It is built of roughcast stone with a slate roof. The east elevation is two storeys high and has three bays. It features sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance, positioned between the second and third bays, has a gabled canopy supported by stone brackets, and a 20th-century door. Gable-end stacks are present, as is a central axial stack. The west elevation includes a gabled wing with a projecting gable-end stack, and an outshut with a catslide roof. This wing has varied casement windows. A 20th-century conservatory has been added to the north elevation. Internally, there is a moulded beam. The building is included on the list for group value.
