Description
Midtown Farm Cottages and the adjoining barn are two houses and a barn built in the early to mid 19th century. They are constructed from coursed mixed limestone and sandstone rubble and feature a graduated greenslate roof with brick chimney stacks. The building consists of a two-storey, two-bay house on the right and a single-bay house on the left, which is connected to the barn, all under a common roof. The house on the right has a four-panel top-glazed door and sash windows with glazing bars set in painted chamfered surrounds. The house on the left has a plank door within an alternate-block surround and similar windows. The barn includes plank doors and upper-floor cross and oval vents. The buildings share a common roof with Bridge House and are listed partly for their group value with that house.
