Description

Brewery House is a house that was formerly the brewery manager's residence, dated 1861 above the side entrance. It is constructed from coursed sandstone and limestone rubble, featuring rusticated quoins on a chamfered plinth. The roof is made of graduated greenslate and has yellow-brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. There is a panelled door set in a chamfered Tudor arch, which is covered by a hoodmould. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are framed by chamfered stone surrounds and also feature hoodmoulds. This property is listed partly for its group value with the Old Brewery located opposite.
