Description
Parkergate is a farmhouse that has been converted into a private house. It is dated and inscribed above the entrance with "I. & S.M. 1767." The building features painted roughcast walls and is topped with a graduated greenslate roof, which includes roughcast chimney stacks. It is two storeys high and has two bays, with a single-bay extension on the right side. The entrance has a 20th-century door set in a painted stone surround beneath a shaped lintel that includes the inscription panel. The windows are sash style and also have painted stone surrounds. An adjoining barn to the left and a 20th-century extension to the rear are not of interest.
