Description

Mire Side is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century. It features painted roughcast walls and is topped with a graduated greenslate roof, which includes yellow brick chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. The entrance consists of a plank door set in a plain opening, while the windows are fixed-light and have plain reveals. Inside, there is an inglenook with a firebeam and beamed ceilings on the ground floor. At the rear, there is an outshut. An adjoining barn to the right is not of interest.
