Description
This former barn, now converted into a house, is located approximately 40 meters north of Hodge Hill and is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and has a slate roof. The west elevation features a former entrance that is now glazed, flanked by 20th-century windows and ventilation slots to the right. To the left, there is an entrance to the lower level with a flat arch. An inserted chimney stack is positioned at the front of the ridge.
The rear of the building has a central gabled projection with later outshuts that have catslide roofs. There is a central winnowing door with a timber lintel and dripstone, which is now glazed, along with an inserted window to the left and an unglazed opening to the right. The left return has a projection at the end of the outshut under an asymmetrical gable, with an entrance on the right return, as well as ventilation slots and an inserted window. The right return also features inserted windows and an entrance. This building is included for its group value.
