Description

The table tomb, dating from the late 15th century, is located south of the chancel of the Church of St Michael. It is believed to be for Sir William Leigh of Isel Hall, who died in 1484. The tomb is made of red sandstone and features carved trefoils and shields representing the Leigh family. Originally, this tomb was situated inside the church.
