Description
Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a dwelling for the warden of the Wimbleball reservoir. It was built in the early 19th century and features a rendered exterior over a rubble base, with a hipped slate roof and stacks. The building is arranged in a double pile facing southeast and consists of two storeys with a layout of 1:2:1 bays. It has 16-pane sash windows and a 7-bay partially glazed verandah. The entrances are located beneath overhanging eaves, with a brick structure in the second bay on the left and between the first and second bays on the right. The farm is noted on the 1822 Greenwood map.
