Description

No. 4, The Ball is an early 19th-century building with later alterations. It is constructed of random rubble red sandstone with a plain tile roof and brick end chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high, featuring two gabled semi-dormers with bargeboards and mock timbering. Below the eaves are two 2-light wood casement windows, alongside tiled angled bay windows. A doorway is fronted by a gabled hood supported on wooden brackets, and features a ribbed door. The building is listed for its group value.
