Description
The barn and adjoining outbuilding located on the west side of the yard at Emmett's Grange date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed from random rubble using local stone. The barn features a hipped roof made of corrugated iron, while the outbuilding to the right has a lower, steeply pitched roof also made of corrugated iron. The barn includes a central porch with a corrugated iron roof and a four-light window above it. To the left of the porch, there are two square-headed openings and one door leading to the outbuilding. This structure is listed primarily for its group value as part of the collection of buildings surrounding the foldyard at Emmett's Grange.
