Description

The Jubilee Pump is a pump and trough located in The Square, Chagford, and it dates from 1889. It is constructed from granite ashlar and features a brass plaque. The pump is positioned facing north-east on the approach to The Square, housed in a square section upright block with a triangular head. The front of the block displays a brass plaque that notes the pump was presented by Colonel German of Meacombe in 1889. In front of the pump, there is a granite ashlar trough set on a pedestal.
