Description
This building is a shippon and granary located approximately 10 metres north-north-east of Cossick Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It features granite rubble walls topped with a gable-ended corrugated iron roof. The ground floor contains a shippon with a cart shed at one end and a small store beyond. Above the shippon is a loft, and the granary is situated at the far end, accessible via external stone steps. The building has two storeys, with doors located at both ends and a central area that includes a double doorway to the right of centre. There are windows on either side of the central door, with a loading door above the left-hand window and another window above the double doorway. Stone steps at the far right end lead to a door on the first floor. This shippon and granary is part of a group with Cossick Farmhouse and the barn.
