Description

Ash House is located approximately 8 metres north-east of Yellands Farmhouse and is likely from the 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble, featuring roughly dressed blocks around the window and doorway. The building is circular in shape, topped with a conical roof made of corbelled granite slabs and covered with turf. The ash window on the north-east side has never had a window-frame and is notably positioned away from the farmhouse. The doorway is on the south-east side and originally had an iron door.
