Description

Beckaford Bridge is a road bridge that spans the Becka brook, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble, featuring a dressed stone arch and roughly squared coping stones. The bridge has a single wide span segmental arch, which includes a rough projecting keystone on the upstream side. The parapets are raised to a crank at the center and are swept out to wide abutments at the north-west end.
