Description

West Lodge is a lodge built around 1860, likely designed by the architect St Aubyn, who also designed Delamore House. The building is constructed of granite ashlar and features carved stone details. It has a steeply pitched slate roof and is a single-storey structure. To the left, there is a three-sided bay with mullion windows and a semi-conical roof topped with a lead-clad finial. The right side has a half-hipped roof that slopes down to create a porch supported by brackets, which leads to a doorway with a depressed arch. At the center of the lodge, there is a diagonal granite chimney stack with a group of four round flues.
