Description

The Bragg chest tomb, located approximately 9 metres west of the tower of the Church of St Michael in Chagford, is a chest tomb dated 1819 in memory of Isaac Bragg. It is constructed from granite ashlar and features plain ashlar sides with a soffit-moulded flat lid. The lid is inscribed in plain bold capitals, recording the death of Isaac Bragg in 1819.
