Description

This is a sundial located about 5 meters northwest of Sortridge Manor, dated 1766. It is made of granite and features a slate plate. The sundial has a square plinth with a round base leading to a cylindrical pier topped with a plain square cap. An incised copper plate bears the inscription "tempus fugit 1766." The filigree gnomon is broken, and the pieces of the gnomon are believed to still exist.
