Description
This barn, located immediately to the west of Old Pizwell Farmhouse, is likely from the 18th century and was extended in the late 18th or early 19th century. It features granite rubble walls and a gable-ended corrugated iron roof. The barn has a long rectangular plan consisting of two separate threshing barns from different phases, with the lower left-hand section being the earlier one. It is a single-storey structure. The lower left-hand section has a central doorway positioned quite high, accessed by crudely cut stone steps. The higher right-hand section has a doorway to the left of the centre and contains a 19th-century king-post roof.
