Description
King John's Cottages is a house in a row, built in the late 18th century. It features painted brickwork and a hipped tile roof with brick stacks. The house is set back from No. 3 Mythe Road, which is not included in this listing. It has two storeys and two windows. The ground floor has two-light casements with a horizontal bar, set under segmental arches, and there is an additional window to the right of the door. The door is panelled and part-glazed, topped with a light timber hood. The door and the window to its left are positioned lower than the windows to the right. The house has brick dentil eaves and a small stack at the eaves on the far left and to the rear. There is a parallel range behind the house, constructed of good unpainted brickwork. The interior has not been inspected and it may have originally been two small cottages.
