Description
This building is a barn dating from the late 18th century, with a later stable block, located approximately 50 meters north of Manor Farmhouse. It is constructed from random squared and dressed limestone, featuring a corrugated asbestos roof and a red tile roof on the shelter shed. The barn has a rectangular plan that includes a stable and an open-fronted store at the gable end.
The north front of the barn has central 20th-century plank doors flanked by two ventilation slits. There is a 2-light window with a heavy-pegged frame located upper right on the barn's north front, along with a pitching window, a ventilation slit, and an owl hole on the east gable end. An owl hole is also present on the west gable end.
The stable block features a small double-width entrance on the north front, with a pitching window above that has early wooden shutters. The south-facing elevation includes three plank doors and stone steps leading to a plank door for the loft. Inside the barn, there are five bays with original collar and tie-beam roof trusses and double purlins.
