Description

The Waldron Monument, located approximately 15 metres north of the central buttress to the Abbey nave in Tewkesbury, is a square altar tomb dedicated to John Waldron of Clifton near Bristol, who died in 1816. It is made of sandstone and features a hollow-sided pyramid capping on a flat top with moulded edges. The tomb has a frieze with raised panels and a moulded base, all set on a platform.
