Description

The remains of a churchyard cross, likely dating from the late medieval period, are located in the Abbey churchyard in Tewkesbury. The structure is made of ashlar and features a square base with a moulded top designed to support an octagonal shaft of the cross. As of January 1992, this remnant is situated immediately north of the northwest corner of the Abbey porch, next to a monument. Previously, it was located further north, near the entrance gates.
