Description

The Smith monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 6 meters south of the tower of the Church of St Catherine. It commemorates the wife of W. Smith, who died in 1769. The tomb is made of stone and features a flat lid with a moulded edge. The sides have a central fielded panel framed by narrower panels, while the ends consist of fielded panels and a chamfered plinth. The inscription on the north side is illegible.
