Description

The village conduit, located approximately 6 meters east of the Village Hall in Oxenton, dates from the mid to late 19th century and was supplied by Lord Ellenborough. It is constructed from limestone and sandstone. The structure features a circular sandstone surround topped with a circular iron band. At the center stands a circular limestone column with a tap on one side, capped with a conical stone. This is a simple yet unusual design.
