Description
The small mill building at Bourne Mills is an early 19th-century structure located on the south side of London Road in Brimscombe. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone and features a concrete tile roof. The building is three stories high and has a three-window arrangement on both the north and south sides, with large three-light chamfered mullioned casements that retain their leading.
There are external stone steps leading to an off-centre doorway on the middle floor at the east end, with a three-light window to the right and a similar window above. At the west end, there is a single three-light casement on the middle and upper floors, while the ground floor has a blocked doorway. The interior has not been inspected. This building was likely built as a gig mill and is part of a group with the main mill building to the east.
