Description
The stable block, located approximately 20 meters south of Paradise House, is a 19th-century structure that has been repurposed as workshops. It is built from squared and coursed limestone and features a concrete tile roof with coped gables. The building has a symmetrical design, highlighted by a central wide gable or pediment.
The main facade includes a central pair of plank doors that open into a wide elliptical arch with voussoirs. To the left, there is a 2-light stone mullioned casement and a plank door, while to the right, a glazed door is set beneath a voussoired elliptical arch with a keystone. Above the central doors, a row of pigeon openings is positioned over a string course that continues on either side, along with a central oculus in a square panel, which likely originates from an earlier building.
On the upper left side, two sets of pigeon openings are arranged upright, resembling ventilation slits. The left return features an old opening with a chamfered lintel at the first floor, situated beneath a later oculus, and above two 20th-century casements in chamfered mullions. The rear of the building, which is built into a slope, has two ventilation slits.
