Description
Broadfield Farmhouse is a small detached farmhouse, likely built in the late 17th century. It features square panel timber framing with painted brick infill, and the right-hand side is faced with brick. The roof is covered with concrete tiles and is half-hipped to the left, with a brick ridge stack towards the left and a truncated stack at the right end. The building is a single range with one storey and an attic, and it has a small rear extension from the 20th century, as well as a long glazed-in lean-to on the ground floor at the front right. There are two small gabled dormers on the eaves, each containing 20th-century single lights. The entrance is a half-glazed four-panel door located nearly in the centre, but it is partially obscured by the glazed lean-to, as is the ground floor window arrangement.
