Description
Cliffordine House is a detached house built around 1830, with a porch added in the mid-19th century. The front elevation is made of ashlar limestone, while the sides and rear are constructed from coursed rubble. The house features ashlar chimneys and a concrete tile roof. It is three stories tall, with a two-story rear outshut. The front has a three-window arrangement, with 16-pane sash windows on the ground and middle floors and 8-pane sash windows on the upper floor. There is a central doorway with panelled double doors and a rectangular light above it with marginal glazing bars. The lean-to porch has a side door and three shouldered-arched fixed lights on the front wall. The side elevations have scattered casement windows, and there are gable end chimneys. The rear elevation and interior have not been inspected.
