Description

No. 24 Haw Street is a dwelling from the early 19th century. It features newly exposed rubble and a concrete tile roof. The building is a single unit, but it likely started as two small cottages. It has two storeys and two very widely spaced sash windows with bars on the top floor. On the ground floor, there is a new bay window with 'bottle-end' glazing on the left and one sash window with bars on the right. The entrance has a new six-panel fielded door and a smaller sash window that has replaced a former door. All ground floor openings are set under exposed wood lintels. The building is mainly retained for its group value within the street.
