Description

The Saul Champion memorial is an early 19th-century chest tomb located approximately 11 metres east of the south porch of the Parish Church of St George. It is made of limestone and features a moulded cornice, a plain square base on a stylobate, and simple rectangular panels. The memorial is dedicated to Saul Champion, who passed away in 1820. It is situated immediately to the east of the memorial for Richard Andrews.
