Description

The Elizabeth Collens memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 2.5 meters north of the central bay of the chancel of the Parish Church of St George. This tomb dates from the early 18th century and is made of limestone. It features a moulded top and base, lyre ends, and sunk rectangular inscription panels. The memorial commemorates Elizabeth Collens, who died in 1709, although the date is uncertain. At the time of the survey, the base of the tomb was partly sunk.
