Description
The Maltings at Salmon's Spring Brewery is a mid-19th century building located on Painswick Road. It is constructed of brick and features a pitched slate roof. The structure has two storeys and attics, with a total of 15 bays that are divided by pilaster strips and topped with a brick eaves cornice. The ground floor has 14 ranges of windows, while the first floor consists of blind panels. There are also six attic dormers. Inside, the floor is supported by cast iron columns throughout. At the north end, there is a kiln with a square plan and a pyramidal slate roof, which is lined throughout and has a floor made of perforated ceramic tiles, along with two fixed windows.
