Description
Lovett's Wood Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 'W G Mason/Anno Dom/l642'. It is constructed from coursed, squared rubble, with some areas rendered, and features a double Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges. The building has two storeys and attics, which were formerly in dormers. On the ground floor, there are two windows and a central door. The windows are three- and four-light casements with chamfered mullions and surrounds, topped with four-centred arch heads. There are continuous string courses above the ground and first floors. The central door is a plank door set in a square-headed surround. To the right, there is a lower two-storey wing that has early 19th-century 16-pane glazing bar sash windows in plain stone surrounds.
