Description
Day House Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1700. It has a rendered exterior and a Cotswold stone slate roof, with 19th-century brick stacks. The building is two storeys tall with attics featuring hipped dormers. On the ground floor, there are four windows and a central door, while the first floor has three windows. The ground floor windows are cross windows with moulded mullions and transoms, set under drip moulds. The dormers have louvres. There is a central 20th-century gabled projecting porch. To the left, there is a single-storey extension that was formerly a kitchen wing. This farmhouse is a late example of the South Gloucestershire farmhouse style and includes a cheeseloft.
