Description

This milestone, located on the west side of Wotton Road in Stinchcombe, dates from the 19th century. It is made of sandstone and measures approximately 450 mm by 250 mm and stands 500 mm high. Attached to the sandstone pillar is a cast-iron panel, bolted on, which measures 400 mm by 220 mm and bears the inscription 'TO WOTTON III'.
