Description
There are two table tombs located approximately 3 metres and 6 metres north of the tower of the Church of St Lawrence, erected in the late 17th century or early 18th century.
Both tombs are made of dressed and carved stone, featuring base slabs and projecting capstones with moulded edges, supported by end and side panels.
The south tomb has projecting consoles on the end panels that frame a seated figure in relief, which is now badly weathered. The south face includes a rectangular inscription panel with a figure in relief on either side, while the north face has a rectangular inscription panel framed by curtains in relief.
The north tomb features projecting consoles on the east side that frame an oval panel in relief with a scrolled surround, above which are two winged angel heads. The projecting consoles on the west side also frame an oval panel. The south side has a rectangular inscription panel decorated with a floral motif and draped material, while the north side has an oval inscription panel in relief with scrolled edges flanked by ribbons and foliage.
