Description

The entrance gate piers to Number 12 Beaufort House are a pair of early 18th-century structures located at the front garden entrance of Beaufort House. These square brick piers are topped with moulded stone cornices, each surmounted by a stone ball on a pedestal. On the front of each pier, just below the cornices, there are stone panels inscribed with the words "Beaufort" on the left and "House" on the right.
