Description

This is a chest tomb located 19 meters southeast of the chancel in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of limestone with a sandstone top. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge, gadrooned quarter balusters, and fielded panels, all supported by a moulded base. The inscriptions on the north and south faces are heavily worn, with only the date 1747 being legible.
