Description
Mann Memorial Hall was built in 1891 for Edith Spear Mann in memory of her husband. The building features rock-faced stone with a half-timbered gable end and stands two storeys high. It showcases elaborate half-timbering, oriel windows, bargeboards, and a finial on the gable. The north side has three pedimented dormers, while the south side has one flat-topped dormer. A tall lantern with a corniced roof sits on the ridge, and there are stone stacks. The design includes Tudor style detailing, including a quotation from Ruskin: "Every noble life leaves the fibre of it interwoven for ever in the Work of the World."
