Description
The Manor Cottage is a building dating from the 16th century that has been heightened and remodeled, likely around 1700, but was largely rebuilt and extended in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features a Cotswold stone roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows. On the ground floor, there are two modern doorways on the left, one of which has a dripmould. There are also two 3-light casements with stone mullions, with the left-hand one featuring a dripmould, which appears to be part of the original structure. Above, there are three 2-light stone mullioned casements. The building also includes two ashlar ridge stocks. Overall, it is a typical example of a building that has been much altered but still maintains a unified character.
