Description

These are 18th-century cottages, altered later. Originally a terrace of five, they are now three cottages, numbered 1, 2, and 4. The cottages are built of rubble with brick chimneys. Each has two or three windows, with 2-light or 3-light casement windows set under timber lintels. Number 4 has a modern extension to the side, built in a matching style. A board above the door of number 2 reads "Twine Cottages 1850”, likely referring to a period of remodelling. There are glazed doors.
