Description
Cranmer Cottage and Sunny Bank is a cottage row, formerly consisting of four cottages, dating from around 1700 and restored in the mid-20th century. The building is constructed of rubble with ashlar quoins and features a Cotswold stone roof. It has five chimneys, one of which is made of ashlar and has a moulded capping, located on the ridge. The structure is 1½ storeys tall and has an irregular layout with roughly two to three bays. There are four dormer gables designed in the Cotswold style. The windows are mullioned with drips, including two, three, and four-light configurations. On the ground floor, the leftmost window is a four-light ovolo with a king mullion, which is linked to a half-glazed door on the right by a common drip. The next two windows to the right are also connected by a common drip, and several of the windows have been restored. The right-hand bay is slightly set back and has a door leading to the right-hand cottage.
